Class Schedule:

Week 1 – Introduction To Golf

We will start with a short tour of the Pro Shop and other Pinewood facilities. This will be followed with time on the driving range learning the basics of swinging a golf club. The lesson will end with an explanation of the etiquette and rules of golf.

Week 2 – Building Your Golf Swing

The lesson will begin on the driving range. We will work on building a repeatable golf swing that you can use on the course. The lesson will end with the basics of how to use the most important club in your bag – the putter.

Week 3 – Building Your Swing & Playing Some Golf

The lesson will start on the driving range, continuing to work on your swing. Then, we will go-over chipping and pitching the ball around the green. Now, it is time to play a little golf. We will break-up into foursomes and play three holes, from tee to green.

Week 4 – Continuing To Build Your Swing & Playing More Golf

Now we will work on the shots that you feel are your weakest. This can be your driver, fairway woods, putter, or wedges. We will follow-up with six holes, from tee to green.

Week 5 – Graduation Day!

We will start by warming-up on the driving range and practice putting green. Now, we are ready for a full nine-hole round of golf.

Notes:

If you do not have clubs, clubs will be available at the course for your use. Do not buy clubs before you take the lessons. Clubs can vary considerably based on your height, swing speed, and other factors. Pinewood carries TaylorMade and Wilson golf clubs and other golfing equipment if you are thinking about making an investment in golf equipment.
